Warming Hut Cabin

About

The Warming Hut is a cabin located in the center of the property and is available to be rented overnight. The Hut offers sleeping accommodations with 4 queen sized bunks for 8 guests. Cots or pads can accommodate an extra four people. Guests are responsible for bringing their own food and linens/sleeping bags. We provide firewood, dishes, and silverware for 8, solar lighting, propane stove top (no oven), cold running water in season, and a deck for stargazing. An outdoor solar shower is available weather permitting and there are two outhouses.

 

Rates

A $120 non-refundable deposit is required and counts toward the reservation fee.


For one adult per night:

Minimum charge of $120


For each additional guest per night:

Adults – $40

Ages 8 to 17 – $20

Ages 8 and under - free

Pets - $10 per pet/night


The maximum charge for up to twelve people is $240 per night. Best suited for groups of eight.


Firewood for outside fire:  $25 for two good armloads.  No charge for wood used in the wood stove.

Check out time - 11AM

Important Information

  • Please put all trash in receptacle provided, save cardboard/paper for fire. 
  • Outdoor fires are allowed in the firepit with prior permission due to fire danger with no snow. 
  • There is an extra charge of $25 for firewood used in the outside firepit.  
  • This is a carry in/carry out facility in the winter months which requires a hike or ski of a half mile.  


Spring, Summer and Fall Parking: Only one car may drive in once with gear, park, and drive out at the end of your stay unless you have received permission otherwise. Daily, in and out traffic is not allowed.  alwindblown@gmail.com
