Payment & Parking

Reservations are required for all stays, there are no walk-ins. Please contact Al Jenks at alwindblown@gmail.com to make reservations.

There are three ways that you can pay for your stay at Windblown.

Check each cabin or shelter page for exact rates and guidelines.

Please note that a deposit is required to reserve a site which is listed on each shelter or cabin page.

1: Mail a check

Make checks out to Al Jenks.

Please do NOT make checks out to Windblown Camping!

2: PayPal

Send payment to alwindblown@gmail.com

If paying by PayPal, add an additional 4% to your total.

3: Pay at Windblown

To pay at Windblown please leave payment in the Waxing Shed where you will find a lock box to deposit your payment in.

See below for details on finding the Waxing Shed.

Cancellations:

To cancel your reservation or to change dates, please contact Al Jenks at alwindblown@gmail.com.

Cancellations or date changes must be made at least five days before the reservation date. If you cancel within five days of your reservation, the deposit will be forfeited.

Please note that changing dates is subject to availability.

Parking is available in the large open lot across from the former lodge. Look for the "Overnight Parking" signs and park between them.

Do not park near or around the lodge. Please note that the lodge is now a private residence. Please respect "Private Yard" and "Private Parking" signs.

Please leave payments and sign-in information in the waxing shed.

The waxing shed is located directly across from the former ski Lodge.

Please fill out forms and leave payment in lock box.

A map is posted in the waxing shed with the route to the shelters highlighted in red. Stay on this path to avoid getting lost as many of the old trail signs have been removed. Follow the red "Shelters" signs to stay on the correct route.
