Utilizing Solar Power:
Please review the instructions for the solar power system. Solar Power is not guaranteed (depends on sun and battery storage). • Always shut off lights when leaving the Hut.
Extra Sleeping Accommodations:
Additional cots/mats located under the bunks. Gas Stove: Use the lighter to light the burners, oven is not functional.
Cold water at sink, hot water for shower weather permitting. Potable water: Obtain at outdoor spigot at the lodge to the left of ski shop door. Use blue five gallon container found in Waxing Shed or your own container.
Winter: Five gallons will be delivered before your stay. Use snowmelt for washing.
One vehicle can drive in to the Warming Hut weather permitting, park overnight and drive out the next day when staying one night. Other vehicles park in lot next to lodge or up the hill next to the outhouse.
We ask that the flow of traffic be limited to one car entering once and leaving once as this road goes by private residences, thank you for your cooperation.
Recycle bottles and cans, burn paper, save cardboard for starting fires, and leave lid on trash can.
Fire Safety & Wood Stove Use:
Fire Safety is a must at the Hut's forested location - please use common sense when dealing with fire and heating. Do not hesitate to call with any questions or concerns:
